There are so many things to love about Resa... I would guess she might have been the most loved member of our ward! Which is likely why she was called to assign sacrament prayers ... who can say no to sweet Resa?!
I was often grateful for Resa´s quiet, insightful wisdom. After teaching lessons in Sunday school or Relief Society... she would often make a point of talking with me after after about shared thoughts on the discussion.
I was also so lucky... to have a few wonderful visits with her in the last year, learning more about her well lived life.
She truly was an example of being an excellent mother, and Person.
I love Resa! We will all miss her so much!

I was blessed to live across the street from Resa for 12 years. She was my visiting teacher and a great example of Christ-like love as I was inactive at the time. We had many conversations about Handel´s "Messiah" as she listened to it every Sunday. What an Elect Lady!

A person couldn't help but be uplifted by Resa's smile, kind demeanor and lilting greeting of "Hello - (insert your name)". I remember her vigilance in gardening, love of running and tasty German pancakes. The fruit didn't fall far from the tree and the goodness of the home, and life she created is mirrored in her family.
Love you all.

I was blessed to work with Resa for the last five of her thirty-five years at East Seminary. I was the principal, but she was the Christlike leader for the students and the faculty! She was truly an angel! I was blessed to be tutored by her consistent example of honesty, integrity, tolerance, intelligence, faith, contagious joy, and love. The way she lived her life will leave a lasting and powerful legacy for good in this world.

I'm sorry about sister Frei's passing away. I remember her from seminary from 1977-1981. The seminary (back then) was a split level structure. Her office was on the last window on the right before going either up or downstairs. She took both of applications for the computer dances, in junior and senior year. Always with a smile on her face. Rest in peace.

Sister Frey was the Angel of the East Seminary. I worked with her for nine years. We remembered her birthday with a bouquet of roses. I continue to honor on her birthday (30 November) after I moved on to another assignment in Church Education. She is an Angel. David Shoell East High School Seminary Principal.

Resa was one of the kindest and loving women I have ever known! She had a way of making you feel special. Her calm and quiet demeanor could put you immediately at ease. Although it´s been many years since I have visited with her, I will be forever grateful for the lasting impression she made in my life!
