Salt Lake City-Our dear Tim was born in Salt Lake City, UT. He grew up with 2 wonderful parents; 3 older brothers, and 1 older sister. He passed away in Murray, UT due to complications from an injury.
Tim grew up in West Jordan, UT, where he attended school. He was a very loving and caring person to anyone that he met. He was a very socially spirited individual-always anxious for a good time with friends and family and loved to laugh. Tim had many good friends and was the type of person well remembered once met. Tim enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowboarding and any type of outdoor recreation. He worked in the events industry building sets for concerts, movies and trade shows. A master of ropes, he never missed an opportunity to teach or demonstrate his knot tying skills. Anyone not tying the appropriate knot correctly could expect to hear, "Tie a Knot or Tie a lot." Tim had a passion for music and loved to share it with the world. His big heart and warm personality will surely be missed.
Tim is survived by: his son, daughter, 2 stepdaughters, his father, 3 brothers and 1 sister. He is preceded in death by his mother.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State Street, with a viewing Friday, January 2nd from 6 - 8 p.m. as well as Saturday from 10 -10:45 a.m. Interment: West Jordan City Cemetery.

Tim will be forever in my memories - from back in the "good 'ol days!"
I was best friends with his x-girlfriend, Marybeth, while she lived in SLC. We had many, many good times together. Tim always tried to play the peace maker. He was always one of the good guys. He will never be forgotten. Those who were closer to him, I'm sorry for your loss. Tim was a good friend and will be missed by many.

I wish we would have spent more time together thru the years. Even though we haven't seen each other since 2002 I would often tell stories to other people of our trip to the desert with a mutual friend, of riding bikes thru the fire in the winters night, how you played that famous song from the Sex Pistols at my wedding in Bountiful with your sound system.
You will always be a friend with an amazing spirit for living life to its fullest.
I'm glad we got to know each other Tim.

I have lost earthly contact with a great Brother, Friend and Hunting Companion. I am confident that he has found a much better place and that he is surrounded by our dear Mother, Grandparents, Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and Friends who have preceding him in passing. I will miss him greatly.
