Timothy Ferre Obituary
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Dorothy Ferre; sister, Robyn; daughter, Heather; and granddaughter, Abby. He is survived by his wife, LaNae Bates Ferre; children, Shawn (Michelle), Kevin (Jennifer), Bryan (Amber) Brynn (Brett), and Collin (Rachel); 22 grandchildren; and brothers, Richard and Craig. Tim was a loving Husband, Father, Grandpa, Son, Brother and Friend. He was a kind, tender-hearted disciple of the Savior, actively serving and helping others.
Tim grew up in SLC and served a mission for the LDS Church in Berlin, Germany, and held various church callings throughout his life. He also served his country in the Air National Guard. He loved his dental practice and considered his patients as extended family.
Tim was active in the lives of his children and grandchildren, showing love and support in their every activity.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Chapel located at 1355 East 7200 South, SLC, UT 84121, with a viewing from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to services. A viewing will also be held on Thursday, April 9th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State Street, Murray, UT 84107. Interment will be at Wasatch Lawn Cemetery, 3401 S. Highland Drive, SLC, UT 84106.

Dear Ferre family. I was saddened to hear of Tim's passing. Tim and I grew up together in the Highland Park ward in Sugarhouse. Compassionate, kind, interested, caring, gentle, dedicated, proud father and husband. He was our families' dentist for over fourty years. He was a part of our lives and attended our weddings and funerals, and truly cared about each and every one of us. Dr Tim Ferre was an amazing spirit will be missed by all of us.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Dr. Ferre. He was our dentist for over 30 years and a wonderful, caring man. You only needed to walk into his office to know how important his wife and family were to him. Through pictures mounted around the office we watched his family grow. We (his patients) were part of his family too--we asked about his family and he asked about ours. We wish you didn't have to go so soon. God speed.

Tim was a great guy. He was my family's Home Teacher for years and was involved in the ward's Young Men's program with me and my older brothers. He was a true "Ute" fan too! He had a great sense of humor and was one of the nicest people you could ever meet. My thoughts and prayers are with The Ferre family.

I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Ferre's passing. He was my sisters and I's dentist since we were young girls, and my Dads and Grandparents for years before that. Because of Dr.Ferre I have taken a interest in dental work and am currently in school for assisting with hopes to continue schooling to move up. Thank you for everything you have done Dr. Ferre, rest in peace.
