TIMOTHY NGUYEN Obituary

Timothy G. Nguyen 1991 ~ 2010 Timothy Gary Nguyen, son of Dao and Thuy Nguyen; brother of Darlene and Travis; grandson and friend, passed away at home on Friday, Jan. 29, 2010. Tim's passing came just shy of his 19th birthday. Tim was born February 10, 1991 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born with a serious heart defect, Tim came into the world fighting for his turn at life. Due to astute surgery, blessings, miracles and his mother's tender care, Tim lived a vast and full 19 years. Tim graduated from Woods Cross High School. He loved sports, particularly basketball. He loved boating, camping and traveling with his family, especially their trip to Vietnam where his parents are from. He loved surrounding himself with family and friends, especially his best friend, his brother Travis. Tim is survived by his parents, Dao and Thuy Nguyen; sister, Darlene Jones (Daniel); brother, Travis; grandmothers, Oanh Phan, Vietnam, and Sinh Phan, Santa Barbara, CA; and Karen Post, Salt Lake City, UT; his best friends, Julie Senethavisouk and Thomas Montes; many other good friends, cousins, aunts, uncles. A celebration of Tim's life will be held at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, January 31, 2010 at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, where a visitation will be held from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. prior to services.
