Todd Kunz Obituary
Todd Larell Kunz of Sandy, Utah passed away on August 14th, 2012. He leaves behind a legacy of service and love for those around him. Todd was the first of eight children, born in 1961, to LaRell and Deanne Kunz of Driggs, Idaho. Central to his life, was his dear wife Karen, and his children, Brian, Bradley, Mark and Jenna. He is still affectionately known as "Papa" to his beloved grandchildren Bryce and Jace.
Todd's passion to help others led him on a life of service. He dedicated countless hours to the facilitation of AA meetings. He volunteered in the Utah State Prisons to help those with addiction overcome their challenges, and fulfilled his life-long dream of establishing an addiction recovery center in Salt Lake County.
There was never a moment in his life where family was not his main focus. They always felt his love and knew of his desire to serve them. His dear wife said, "He is the love of my life, my rock, and will be through all eternity. Thank you for all the beautiful memories we shared. I will be forever grateful for having you in my life. I know I will see you again". While he will be missed, our family is focused on that great day when we can be reunited.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, August 20, 2012 at the Crescent 18th Ward, 2195 East Pepperwood Drive. Visitations will be held on Sunday evening from 6-8 pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South in Sandy and on Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the church. Todd was one of the most genuin, kind hearted people I have ever known. Careing for others was very natural for him and the world has suffered a huge loss. Prayers with the Kunz family, this is just so devistating. Looking forward to forever!

We have known Todd for years. He along with Kory and Lori were in a group of friends, with our daughter Linda,that came to our home for parties every week when in high school.
