Travis Booth Obituary

Our beloved husband and father, Travis, was born in Chillicothe, Missouri on October 12, 1974 to Gary and Nancy Booth. His family later moved to Joplin, Missouri where he graduated from high school. Travis received a bachelors of science in business from Missouri State University. He went on to get his masters in business administration also from Missouri State University. Additionally, he received a masters in physical therapy from Southwest Baptist University. He was working toward a doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Montana at the time of his death.

Travis met the love of his life, Lori Prichard, on a blind date in 2002 in Joplin, Missouri. Not long after, they married in Webb City, Missouri on October 16, 2004. They spent nearly 15 glorious years together loving one another deeply. From that love, they had two beautiful children, Magnin, 13, and Brennan, 10. His children were his greatest accomplishment. He loved them beyond measure.

Travis loved being a physical therapist and took his patients' well-being to heart. He tried so hard to make a difference in their lives and wanted to get to know them personally so he could do everything in his power to help in their healing. Getting his patients better was a great source of joy to him. He received a lot of love from them in return.

More than anything, Travis spent his life devoted to his family. There was no distraction, no cause, no purpose greater than them. He loved them deeply and unconditionally. He was pure of heart and the kindest of men. Our lives will never be the same without him.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at Saint Olaf Catholic Church, 276 East 1700 South, Bountiful, Utah. A visitation will be held Monday, August 19, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah.

Lori,
I was a nurse at Heritage Park Care Center and had the opportunity to work with Travis. We have kids the same age. My daughter Arwen is the same age as your Magnin. My Brielle is Brennan's age. Anyway, somehow I came across Travis's obituary and was shocked and saddened by the news. He was a nice person and a great therapist. We would often talk about our families and I want you to know he spoke highly of you and loved you so much. He loved the kids, too. I am not sure why he passed, but he was too young. However, in his short time on this Earth, he left a great legacy and reputation. I am sending you a big hug and a prayer on behalf of you and your family during this challenge.

I just heard today of Travis's passing my heart is broken. I loved him he was so kind and caring. He helped me through 3 neck fusion surgeries and two shoulder surgeries. I wasn't always the best patient and didn't want to do physical therapy so he spent time working out all of my pain while I just laid there. He helped me to heal and he was always so pleasant and understanding. I would bring my young daughter in with me and he would always include her in the conversation and make sure she had paper and pencil to draw with. I was at the First Med today getting stitches out and went over to see if he was in and heard about his passing and I'm just devastated. I pray that you and your family will be comforted at this time. I am so sorry.

To Lori, children and family,
I am so very sorry to learn of the passing of your husband. As a KSL viewer, I had wondered where you have been, not having seen you for a while, but came across Travis' obituary. What an unspeakable shock this must be for all of you. Though I'm a stranger to you, nevertheless I want to express my sincere & profound condolences to you. I will have you & your children in my prayers for God's comfort, peace and love to help see you through this very difficult time. Know you're not alone.
God bless you.

So sorry to hear about this. Travis was always a happy, always laughing, and very motivated guy when I knew him in high school, always pushing people around him in football and others areas of school to be better. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of his family and friends. Rest in Peace.

I just can't believe such an incredible human being is gone. I graduated high school with Travis and would run into him at MSU. He was always going to class and well I probably was not. Lol No matter how early, how tired or how long it had been since we saw each other he 100% always made you feel like you absolutely were the most important friend to him at that time. Everyone knows he had a tremendous smile but I always remember he looked at friends with feeling and true interest in how I was doing. You will always be missed and loved by all you came in touch with. P.S. I'm sure my sister in heaven is waiting for you, she always had a crush on you. Give her and my Mom a hug for me. God bless you friend.

My family and I got to know Travis through my shoulder injury, he quickly became a friend to us. I don't know if I said it enough, but Reyon & I were forever grateful for your support towards Reyon's Olympic career, my shoulder recovery, Chanel, and our move to New Zealand. We were truly hoping to see you at our wedding, but we'll just have to wait a bit longer.
We have nothing but the best memories of Travis, you were an example of kindness, positivity, and selflessness. We may have lost you, but your spirit will stay with us, thank you for the huge impact you had in our lives, thank you for giving me hope that I would get better, and thank you for your friendship.

Travis had such a rare and remarkable talent. He could be in a place, with hundreds of friends and family, and make each and everyone of them feel like he/she were #1. If you were feeling down, he would make you smile, no matter what. He went out of his way to make sure everyone felt included, wanted, loved and cherished. He will FOREVER be loved and missed! Out thoughts and prayers to the entire family and his many, many friends.

Such an unspeakable and unfathomable loss!! Travis, you were a brilliant light and blessing to the universe. You were the heart and soul of the physical therapy clinic!! Your legacy is one of kindness, compassion, wisdom and unending generosity. You were an amazing physical therapist!! You helped so many people. I was in awe, and remain in awe, of your innate ability to diagnose and treat patients. You put everyone at ease. In your presence each of us felt like we were part of a family. I ask for wisdom in attempting to reconcile that you are no longer with us; my heart finds it so incomprehensible!! Your were dearly loved; you are dearly missed!!

Great guy. He was a pleasure to share work assignments with and tease. I always called him Josh . . . and he always answered.
