Tyler Anderson Obituary

Tyler Christian Anderson
"My Love"
Tyler Christian Anderson was born September 10, 1992 to Greg and Carol Anderson. He passed away unexpectedly on December 28th beside his eternal companion, Christina Anderson. Tyler is a joy to all those he touched and his life and light are felt by many.
Tyler was raised in Murray and graduated from Murray High School in 2011. Throughout his life and specifically in school, he was a talented athlete and competed in track and field and on the varsity football team. He had a great love and admiration for his coaches and mentors. Since he was a boy, he has been a faithful Texas Longhorns fan and was never known to miss a game.
He served the Lord faithfully for two years as a Missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Brazil Ribeirão Preto Mission from November 2011 to November 2013. He deeply loved the people, culture, and language in Brazil and that love endured after his return home.
He married his only love and high school sweetheart Christina Jewell McBride on June 19, 2014 in the Salt Lake Temple for time and all eternity. Tyler loves his wife dearly and deeply. Though their 4 1/2 years together were short, they have built the foundation for eternity. They complemented each other perfectly. Together they celebrated the birth of their beautiful son, Wyatt J in May of 2018. Tyler is as great of a father as he is a spouse. He loves his family immensely and through the powerful legacy he leaves, Wyatt will always know his father.
In April of 2018 he graduated from the University of Utah in Civil Engineering. He loved his field and was a dedicated employee at Focus Engineering. He was a valued employee and he felt an equal appreciation and love for those who he worked alongside.
He is a beloved member and key participant in his families, both the Anderson and McBride families. Though he was married into the McBride family, he never felt like an in law, he was loved wholly by all. His ward family likewise received many blessings of his selfless service. He served faithfully his whole life and we know that he will not stop serving and blessing those nearest him on this side of the veil and the other.
The truest measure of a man is in his ability to love completely, serve whole heartedly, forgive quickly and teach humbly. He mastered these traits. Always willing to serve where asked, help where needed and love unconditionally. Tyler has led a life that perfectly represents who he is as a man. He is full of love and joy and brought a smile to all he associated with.
He is survived by his wife Christina and son Wyatt; parents Greg and Carol Anderson; siblings, Joseph and Keshia, Brandt and MeMe (Beckett and Ruby), Heidi, Jennie; parents in law, David and Kathy McBride; siblings in law, Melissa and Nick (Brooklynn), Michael and Abi (Liam), Emily and Brayden (Isaac and Eden). He is preceded in death by his grandparents in law, Byron J and Vera Horrocks and sister in law, Adrianne McBride.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 4th at the Murray 22nd Ward located at 5750 South 619 West, Murray Utah. Viewing will be held on Thursday, January 3rd from 5:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. at the church and on Friday from 9:45 a.m to 10:45 a.m.

Not sure what to say?

January 8, 2019

Dear Greg and Family--
We were saddened to hear of the passing of your son, Tyler. Although we didn't know him personally, we're sure he was a fine young man. The plan of salvation makes the separation of our loved ones bearable, but it is still very difficult to part with those we love so dearly. May your faith in the Savior and your testimony of His Gospel bring peace and comfort to your hearts at this time of sorrow in your lives.
Much Love,
Bob and Marjean Kamerath

My brother Dan is Christina's uncle. My heart has been touched to hear of the loss of one so young, in the prime of life. May you feel strength from the thoughts and prayers of many at this time. This one is a complete shock. Tyler is as such an amazing young man. I got the pleasure of coaching him at Murray and loved his work ethic and athleticism. He has grown into a great citizen, husband and father and as a coach, that is the most gratifying traits you can hope for as these kids grown up. My heart goes out to his parents, family, wife and son.
