It was fun to work with Vaughn as a Hosting Missionary at the JSMB on Temple Square. He was friendly and kind and had lots of fun stories to tell. We will miss him very much and will miss the wonderful walnuts he brought and shared.

Elder Francis (as I knew him) served as a Temple Square Host on Friday mornings, the same time I am privileged to serve as a temple worker. Often on Friday, he would come visit me while I was serving at a recommend desk to get the wedding count, to visit for a bit, and in the winter - to get out of the cold. I enjoyed those visits and will miss him on Temple Square.

I was a youth in the Ferron Ward when Bro. Francis was in the Bishopric. I remember him being a very kind man that showed love to all those that he came in contact.

What a good friend and neighbor Brother Francis was.. He always had a treat from his garden and a fun story from his past to share with my young boys. Truly a full and loving life. You will be missed.
