WILLARD WILKINSON Obituary

Willard Lyle Wilkinson 10/9/1920 ~ 11/16/2010 Willard Lyle Wilkinson, 90, born October 9, 1920 in East Millcreek, UT to Elizabeth Boyle and James Arthur Wilkinson, died peacefully, November 16, 2010 in Murray, UT.He was a fireman for U. P. Railroad, accomplished cabinetmaker, World War II Vet and licensed private pilot. Retired from Bell System. U. of U. alumni. Survived by Betty, wife of 57 years; children Ronald, Donna, Janet, Lyle, Shauna, Debbie and Lisa; 20 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by daughter, Beverly. Willard was the last sibling of 11 children. He was generous and cared deeply for his family. "We will miss you and remember the things you stood for." Funeral services will be held Friday, November 19, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at Cannon Mortuary, 2460 E. Bengal Blvd., Salt Lake City.

So Sorry, Betty, Lyle, Shauna, Debbie, and Lisa. Betty and Williard and the gang were always good neighbors to us. Although I moved away from the old digs in 1976 to attend graduate school at Virgina Tech. I baby sat for Betty and Willard in the mid 60's and early 70's they were always very generous and considerate. He will be missed. Your old neighbor Joan Louise Thalmann, John and Emma Thalmann's second daughter. P.S. I still love dogs and have four minature poodles. Two red poodles and two black poodles.
