My condolences to the Van Hoff family. Aaron has been one of my best friends since high school- and when John and Jana moved the family to Elk Grove back in the late 80's, I travelled there with Aaron-- as a foolish teenager, I spent all my money on fun, and forgot I was supposed to put some money aside for a bus trip home! I dreaded the phone call I was going to have to make to my parents to ask them to wire me some money. William and Clara were there at the same time, and selflessly offered me a ride back to Utah in their van. Looking back, I'm sure I changed the plans they had for their trip, and indeed the ride home, but they didn't make it seem like a burden at all- in fact, their conversation and friendliness made me feel like part of the family. May you all have a million more fun memories to share with eachother about his wonderful life during your time of sorrow!
