Christina Ulivarri Obituary

Christina Silva Ulivarri was born October 12, 1926 in Bariales, New Mexico and passed away November 18, 2016 in Riverside, CA. She was married to Rosendo Ulivarri on September 2, 1944. Chris worked as a card dealer at The Melrose Hotel, was a waitress at El Rancho Cafe, Bun Boy and Gee's Cafe & Village Cafe. Chris went to Jr. College in Barstow, lived in Barstow for 20 years. Chris lived in the Long Beach area and worked at Hoddys & Owen, her own Restaurant in Long Beach. Her last 32 years she lived in Riverside. Chris took care of her sister-in-law, Reina, for 38 years. Her only brother, Processo, died March 16, 1976; her husband, Rosendo Ulivarri, died January 11, 1993; her only son, Wilfred Ulivarri, died February 13, 2013 and her sister-in-law, Reina Ulivarri, died March 12, 2016. Chris is survived by her only daughter, Veronica, brothers-in-law Gilbert Ulivarri of Belen, New Mexico, Ralph and wife Vivian Ulivarri of Barstow; many nephews and nieces. Memorial Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church on January 11, 2017, 9am. Rosary Mass at 10am. Reception at Noonan Hall.
