David Stoker Obituary

David Allen Stoker
Hesperia - 4/17/1952 – 3/24/2021
David Allen Stoker of Hesperia passed away on March 24, 2020 after a valiant fight with cancer. He lives in the memories of his beloved, Becky; his children: Casper, Joel, Sarah, and Daniel; his stepchildren: Alicia and Jessica; his brother, Dennis; his sister, Donna; his six grandchildren: Gavin, Brinley, Nayeli, Olivia, Oliver, and Anthony; many nephews and nieces; and many friends and coworkers. He joins his wife, Sheri, who departed us in 2013.
David retired in 2008 after serving the community of San Bernardino as a Fire and Police Dispatcher for 35 years. He was an avid traveler, visiting 45 of the 50 states, and visiting national parks, including his favorites – Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Zion, Yosemite, and Grand Canyon. He was also known for his homemade holiday cookies, jams, and jellies.
Due to COVID-19, the family will be holding a memorial service at a later date to honor and share memories of David's life. The family has requested in lieu of flowers, to donate to your favorite charity.

While working as a police officer, Dave as a dispatcher always had my back. Later when I began working in Dispatch for supplemental work he took me under his wing and nursed me along. A fine man, a fine co-worker. Rest my friend, we'll take it from here.
