HENRIETTA MARY CARMICHAEL

Henrietta Mary Carmichael of Victorville, California passed away peacefully at her home on Monday July 11. She was 83 years old. Henrietta, known affectionately as Henri, was born in Juliustown, New Jersey on December 7, 1927, the daughter of the late James Joseph and Emeline (Horner) Flynn. She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, William (Bill) Carmichael, and also her two brothers James Joseph and John Henry Flynn. Henri graduated business school and was employed as a bookkeeper for a dairy farm in New Jersey before she and her husband moved to California. After settling in Victorville, Henri was employed for over 20 years as a bookkeeper for G.A Osborne Pipe & Supply in Victorville. Henri is survived by her son, Louis Larson of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania: her two grandsons, Leif Larson of Montgomery, Alabama and Erik Larson of Apple Valley, California; along with 3 great-grandchildren; numerous stepchildren and extended family; and many friends. Services will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in Victorville on Friday, July 29, 2011, at 10:30 AM, with reception immediately following at the church. Interment will be private.
