Michael Dominguez Obituary
1954-2021
Michael Steven Dominguez Sr., age 67 passed away on June 19, 2021 at home surrounded by his family.
Born February 23, 1954, Mike was a lifelong resident of Barstow. Mike was a standout baseball player throughout his youth. All of those who knew Mike would know baseball was his life. Mike was a proud Riffian having graduated from Barstow High School in 1972.
Mike worked for Burlington Northern Santa Fe for 40 years before retiring in 2014.
Mike enjoyed listening to all types of music throughout his life and he passed on the love of music to his family.
Mike is predeceased by his father and mother Telesfor and Eloisa Dominguez, brothers Leroy and Ted Dominguez.
Mike is survived by his wife of 46 years Elizabeth Gonzales Dominguez of Barstow, daughter Stephannie Garcia of Barstow, son Michael Dominguez Jr. of Springfield, Ohio, and son Vincent Dominguez of Barstow. Four grandchildren Marisa Martinez, Christopher and Solveig Garcia, and Vincent Dominguez Jr. all of Barstow. Three Great Grandchildren Alia and Jake Martinez and Jayleen Garcia. Mike's family were his heart and soul. Mike is also survived by his two sisters Barbara Baca and Debbie Dominguez-Der, two brothers Patrick and David Dominguez and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Barstow, CA on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 2:00pm.

Mike, you were a good neighbor, and coworker. I have so many memories with your kids, but I remember that you taught me and Jesse to take care of our baseball cards, I loved that yellow `56 Chevy, and when I got to work with you for a bit I got to know your sense of humor. My condolences to Liz, Steff, Michael, and Vince, as well as, Sol, and the rest of your family. Rest easy my friend.
