KATHRYN CAREY Obituary

KATHRYN DENISE CONNELLY CAREY Kathryn Denise Connelly Carey, 62, passed away Friday, December 23, 2011, in Escondido, California. Born September 11, 1949, in Ridgecrest, California, she lived in North San Diego County for 33 years. She worked as a homemaker and, for a time, at Sullins Electronics in San Marcos and received Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Counseling and Psychology from National University. She enjoyed drawing, painting, and writing prose and poetry. Her poem "Illusions" was published in The New York Poetry Foundation Anthology. She was preceded in death by her mother Ruth Helen Connelly in 2006. She is survived by her father Gordon L. Connelly of Spirit Lake, Idaho; sons Robert Charles and James Lee Carey of Daggett, daughter Kristi Leah Carey-Moore of Escondido; and sisters and brothers-in-law Bonnie and Michael Clifton of Oceanside and Rebecca and Todd Hartman of Idaho . Private graveside services are planned to take place in March. North County Cremation Service in San Marcos is handling arrangements
