Katie Graham Obituary
Mrs. Graham was an Ordained Minister with the Church of God. She pastured a church in Michigan for many years; and traveled the Southern United States, and Canada, sharing the Gospel of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and praying for the sick. All who knew her loved her. Her love, generosity, and service to those in need blessed her family, friends, and community. She will always be in our hearts. We love you Nana!
Mrs. Graham is survived by her husband John D. Graham; sister Beatrice Smith; daughters and sons-in-law Katie and Dene Metzger, and Barbara and Jay Murley; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Kitten and Tim Norman, Mitchell and Taran Maupin, Carolyn and Tom Land, Patrick Maupin, Cory and Amer Rayyes, and Jefferson and Judy Metzger; 15 great-grandchildren, Robert Maupin, Charity Maupin, Liberty Maupin Webb, Christopher Norman, Beau Adams, Daniel Norman, Clinton Adams, Mallory Maupin, Mara Land, John Thomas Land and Robert Metzger-Chester, Olivia Metzger-Chester-Smith, Ryan Metzger-Chester, Kaylee Mae Metzger and Kory Dene Metzger; 18 great-great-grandchildren, Robert Shawn's children Zach, Austin and Katie, Liberty's children Scottlyn and Tyler, Christopher's children Hannah and Heidi, Clinton's children Sean, Conner and Liam, Beau's children Autumn, Jared, John and Haylee, Robert's children Calista Chester and Leo Dene Chester, and Olivia's children Angelica Serrano and Katelyn Smith.
Katie lost her eldest grandson Michael Maupin in January 2010.
Services were held Friday, June 11 at Desert View Funeral Home and Memorial Park in Victorville.
Memorial donations may be sent to St. Mary's Hospital Foundation, 18300 Highway 18, Apple Valley, CA 92307. If making Donations, please specify Katie Graham's Memorial Fund.
Donations may be paid by cash, check, credit card and mailed, or submitted via email. Checks should be made payable to St. Mary's Hospital Foundation.
