MITCHELL G. STEFFEN Mitch Steffen of Steffen Concrete, 50, of Hesperia, CA passed away after suffering a long bout with illness, on 2-28-12. Mitch's spirit, sense of humor, strong will and infectious laugh and smile will be sorely missed by all. He is survived by his loving Mother, LaRae Steffen and her friend Thomas Trefethen of Hesperia. Leaving behind two Brothers and Sister-in-laws, Dave and Sharon Steffen of SVL, his youngest Brother Ernie Steffen and Sister-in-law Gwen Bacca, both of Apple Valley. My Beloved Daughter, Nicole Ortiz and her Husband, Michael Ortiz of Victorville. Along with Papa's babies, Mikayla, Angel, Mikey and Klarissa... "Papa will always love you". Fiancé, loving companion, Pamela Reich of Hesperia, CA... "Live in peace my Mitch, your journey through your suffering is over. RIP honey." Step-Daughter, Roshelle Chavez and Son-in-law, Fernando Chavez of Las Vegas, NV. "And to my rugrats, Nicholas, Andrew and little Alli, I will miss our phone calls." Many Nieces, Nephews, great Nieces and Nephews, April,Crystal, Brandy, Robert, Alyssa. "And my great nieces and nephews who are just beginning their lives. I will miss you all." There were many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, as well as friends and acquaintances I leave behind. Mitch was preceded in death by his Father, Richard Steffen, Grandmas and Grandpas, Aunts, Uncles and his companions Son, John Reich. And of course we can't forget his 4-legged friend of all, Blue-Boy! A service will be held at Sunset Hills located at 24000 Waalew Rd in Apple Valley on Monday, March 12th @ 3:00 pm. Due to funding a formal reception will not be held afterwards. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made. Call 760-956-3566 for information. Hope you can all attend.
