ROBERT SNYDER Jr.

Robert "Bobby" Dennis Snyder Jr., entered into eternal rest September 18, 2011. Born October 16, 1985 in Apple Valley, he lived all 25 years of his life in Barstow. He attended Lenwood Elementary, Barstow Middle School and graduated from Barstow High School in 2003. He was employed as a heavy mobile equipment mechanic for the past 7 years. His free time included riding recreational vehicles such as dirt bikes, and putting together all types of things including RC cars and using his hands welding and tube bending. He especially enjoyed time with his son, nieces & nephews. Bobby was known for his wonderful sense of humor, telling jokes and making people laugh. He was strong minded in his thoughts and abilities, and always tried to be a peacemaker. Bobby is survived by his wife Teresa Snyder, a son Robert D. Snyder III, his parents Robert Snyder Sr. & Sandra Snyder of Barstow, a sister Katrina Snyder of Barstow, grandparents Charle & Louise Snyder of Watertown, NY, and Carlos & Sally Duran of Barstow., uncles & aunts Sean & Rosalynn Hanson of Fullerton, CA., Domingo & Rebecca Duran of Barstow, uncles Carlos Duran Jr. of Arizona & Charles Snyder of Watertown, NY, and aunt Dora Zavala of Stevenson Ranch., 2 nieces Alyssa & Brilynn Larson of Barstow and nephew Noah of Barstow., many cousins including Isabella & Isaac Hanson, Kiana, Ashley & Josiah Duran, Nicole & Noelle Zavala and Amber Adair. A Celebration of Bobbys Life will be held on Wednesday September 28, 2011, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 505 East Mountain View in Barstow. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m., with Rosary at 10 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to Horizon Memorial Services of Barstow 252-5222.
