I remember back in the early to mid 60's Bill did some work for our family. He was so kind to the kids in the neighborhood giving us all numerous rides in the bucket of his tractor. We were all thrilled. He was such a kind man. Sorry for this families loss.

I first met Bill at Huskys Restaurant, in the mid 70's and worked for him on several occations. He was A Wonderful Man, always with a smile on his face. He will be truely missed by many. Joyce, my Prayers go out to you and your Family.

Condolences to the family of Bill Helmer. My husband worked with Bill at the railroad as well as seeing him and his family personally. He had a lot of respect for him. God bless you Bill and prayers for Joyce, the children and grandchildren.

It's been over 30 yrs. since I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Helmer down at Freddie Tanners Towing, he was such a hard worker and a real nice guy, with a great sense of humor, he will truly be missed, it's comforting to know that he is resting in peace now at the side of God.
