Addie Cole Obituary
Des Moines
Addie L. Cole, 81, passed away October 20, 2011. Funeral Services will be Monday, October 24 at 1 p.m. at Brook South Town Chapel, 7601 Fleur Drive, with burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Addie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and will be lovingly remembered as being "The Boss."
She was preceded in death by her son, Grant as well as her parents, four sisters, and six brothers.
Addie will be missed by her husband of 63 years, Max Cole, Jr., daughters, Kathy Hill and Peggy Brown; grandchildren, Dian (Tom,) Gunderman, Sophie Cole and Grant Bresley; great-grandchildren, Shawnea (Dustin) Arntt, Stephanie and Courtney Gunderman and Joshua Smith; great-great grandchildren, Anthony Cooper, Kaden Arntt and Spencer Gunderman as well as her brother, Tommy (Lynn) Tovrea.

Still thinking about you every day .... my life just doesnt seem right anymore... I feel so lost ! I know you want me to be good to Joshua and Grandpa and not spend all my time being sad but it is sooo very hard with out you. I would give anything to hear you yell SOPHIE from your room just one more time. Tell me what to do grandma......

Mom - How dearly you were loved and how sorely you will be missed. I know you are in the loving arms of your son, your brothers and sisters, your Dad and your Mom. Grandma - You were so much more to me than you will ever know. My life would likely be very different had it not been for your love and stability. You have always been there for me and been my rock. There is a hole in my heart and a crack in my very being. I miss you so much! I promise to look after grandpa for you. Give uncle Buddy a big for me.

Aunt Addie I know you are now on your beautiful journey to heaven but you will be missed here on earth wish we would of been able to see more of you all but I know in the end we will all be together again and if you would give mom a big hug and kiss for me love you all and this is not good bye but see you later.
