I did not know Anil, but I knew his brother, Subhash, from our medical school days at U of I. His father, Prem, was a dear friend of my mother. Subhash and Anil have provided excellent medical care for my WC family for nearly their entire medical careers. Anil was as good a man as his brother, and father. While the loss is deeply felt, the memories of a life well lived will always be with you. My deepest sympathies to Subhash and the rest of Anil's family.

Edda, Suri and the Sehgal family send their deepest sympathy to Nutan and the Sahai family. He like his father (Prem Sahai) served the local Indian community at all times. His father had a dream of building a Hindu temple and Anil fulfilled his wish. Anil's legacy is in leaving behind a beautiful Hindu temple where the community can come together to pray and celebrate.

Dr. Anil had a great sense of humor and was a kind man. His love of children was apparent--I still have a photo of him holding my baby, and numerous times I saw him take the time to kneel down and greet a small child in the hallway at the clinic. I offer my sympathy to his family and patients at this sad time.

A great loss for both the Healthcare practice and Hindu community in Des Moines. His service to the Hindu temple and many other places was outstanding. Definitely the Hindu community in Des Moines lost a great leader. May his soul join the other great people soul at the abode of Lord Shiva/Vishnu.
