On October 10, 2009, Anna M. Ruby, 81, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, October 13, at Tonini Chapel, 2135 SW 9th, Des Moines. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 14, at Lee Town Assembly Church, 2720 State Ave., Des Moines with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
As a pastoral team, she and her husband, Cap, served in Creston and Des Moines.
After her husband's death, she became administrator for the Dawn of New Horizons Food Pantry.
She will be missed by her four sons, Paul (Kaylene); Rick (Kathy), Casper, and Timothy; sister, Margaret Lewin; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Casper, and daughter, Paula Tidball.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lee Town Assembly Church.
