Charlotte was the consummate entertainer and host! We miss assisting with her legendary Galas and smaller fun moments like The Princess Diana Wedding brunch at 5:00 am!

My family and the Des Moines Embassy Club's condolences to the Elmets. Charlotte was a consummate entertainer and we are all proud to have worked for her knowing that our efforts were involved with what was always the best party in town!
Many great memories, (and in the end aren't those the most precious), were made for her clients and for ourselves. One favorite for me was arriving at the Elmet's home at 3:30 AM in the morning to cater Charlottes brunch for Lady Di and the British Royal Wedding. You guessed it Tiara's, Gowns and Gloves as the sun rose! Only Charlotte could have pulled that one off.

My heartfelt condolences to Charlotte's family, of course, but also to all who knew her since she added so much to the lives of so many. It was always Charlotte's delight to make the people around her feel special and she succeeded with great poise and assurance. She knew how to engage with everyone in personal ways that made them feel acknowledged and recognized. Well, now it is our turn to acknowledge and recognize what a wonderful presence Charlotte was in our own lives.

My most heartfelt Sympathy goes out to the family of Charlotte Elmets. What a beautiful person inside and out. Dr. Harry Elmets literally saved my Son's life with his very rare disease he had. Dr. Elmets was the only Doctor in the USA to know what it was. Chris being the only juvenile in Medical History to have, is still alive because of these wonderful emotional, giving and thoughtful people, the phone calls to a Single Parent scared to death. The emotional support they gave of themselves to us, and others will never be forgotten. Mrs. Elmets was a inspiration to all who knew her.
