Chris Harrison 48, died March 13, 2010, at the Westbridge Care Center in Winterset.
A visitation will be held from 1 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare of Winterset, where the family will be present to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at Ochiltree Funeral Service. Burial will be in the Moon Cemetery, Macksburg. Memorials in Chris' name may be directed to Hospice of Central Iowa. Online condolences may be made to www.ochiltree.com
Chris is survived by his wife, Barbara (Wambsgans) Harrison; his mother, Pat Harrison; a step-daughter, Tammy Mead and husband, Steve all of Winterset; two step-sons, Rodney Welsher and wife, Cindy of Des Moines; Joel Welsher and wife, Teresa of Boone; a brother, Juan Harrison and wife, Jamie of DeSoto; two half-brothers, Bill Harrison and wife, Virginia and Don Harrison; nine grandchildren (Kathleen, Jeanell, Jasmine, Mitchell, Peter, Jack, Anna, Daniel and Laura).
