Connie Jean Renaud went to be with her Heavenly Father Thursday, February 4, 2016. She was born July 13, 1944 in Des Moines.

Connie graduated from Altoona High School. She had a simple zest for life. Her enjoyments were first and foremost, her children, and then her business, basketball, gardening, interior design, party planning, being at the lake, good food and most importantly her two grandchildren.

Connie is survived by her two children, Bill Renaud and Jackie (John) Spellman; grandchildren; Frankie and Darbi Spellman; and a host of extended family and loving friends.

Family will greet friends from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a service to follow at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines.

Memorial contributions may be given to West Des Moines Human Services, 139 6th Street, West Des Moines, IA 50265.
