DAMJAN "DADO" BEKIC
Urbandale
Damjan "Dado" Bekic, 20, died August 11, 2009. Dado was born in Europe to Anto and Sonja Bekic on June 25, 1989. He came to the United States in 1999 and graduated from Urbandale High School in 2007 and then attended DMACC. Dado was a Sales Representative with AT&T and helped with the family business. He enjoyed cell phones, computers, cars and video games. His favorite games were World of Warcraft and Guitar Hero. He was also involved in Tae Kwon Do.
He had an unbelievably good heart and smile. He will forever remain beloved by his parents; his sister, Andrea "Adi"; and a host of family and friends in Iowa and in Europe.
Visitation will be on Monday, August 17, 2009 from 5 to 7 p.m., at Hamilton's on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines, Iowa. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at 1 p.m. from St. Francis of Assisi, Catholic Church, 7075 Ashworth Road, West Des Moines, Iowa. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery.
A Memorial has been established. Contributions may be made at the funeral home.
