Dolores Baumbach Obituary
Des Moines
Dolores May "Dee" Baumbach, 80, of Des Moines, died of cancer Monday, January 9, at Taylor House Hospice. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 14, at Iles Funeral Homes - Grandview Park Chapel. Visitation will precede the service, from 9 - 10:30 a.m. Burial will take place at Laurel Hill Cemetery, immediately following the service.
Dee was born in Evansdale, IA and lived in the Des Moines area most of her life. She was a loving mother, a great gardener, and enjoyed times spent with her family.
Dee is survived by her daughter, Ramona Jahn; two sons, Craig and Clifford Baumbach; three grandchildren, Amy Powers, Derek Jahn, and Ben Baumbach; and a great-grandson, Colby Strauser. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rebecca Powers.
Her family will miss her dearly.
