Dear Karen and family!

You must know,l Karen that the most treasured memory I have of Dorothy is when she made poodle skirts for us so we could go to the Buddy Holly tribute at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake. Of course, we had several "fittings" among all the talking (yes, the 3 of us were(are)MASTERS of talking) and last but not least....the laughter! We laughed so hard that the tears ran down our cheeks. Dorothy was an excellent steamstress and those poodle skirts were "PERFECT."

I loved Dorothy very much, and she was ALWAYS happy to see me. I only regret that I did not take the time to go see her! Therefore, the moral of the story is "take the time".....you will never regret it!

Karen, I know you will miss her, but she's now with your dad......and they are loving every minute of being together again.

You have my deepest sympathy!
Love you, sis!
