INDIANOLA
Earlene Fortune McKee, 85, passed away July 26, 2016 at home due to angio sarcoma cancer. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 29 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial immediately following in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 28th with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m.
Earlene was born on March 8, 1931 in Lucas County, Iowa to Earl and Ruth (Lord) Fortune. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Jack McKee; daughters, Michele (Dennis) Walker and Marcie (Dwight) Freeman; four grandchildren; five great- grandchildren ; two great- great grandchildren and six siblings. She was proceded in death by their son, Warren McKee, her parents and a brother, Charles Fortune.
