Edith Murphy, 84, of Indianola died Sunday, March 15, 2009 at the Taylor House.
Edith was born June 23, 1925 in Des Moines to Carl and Bashie Sherrow. Per her wishes, she has been cremated and no services are planned.
Edith is survived by her daughter, Christina (Dennis) Smith of Indianola; her son, Carroll D. Lawton of Lake of the Ozarks, MO; three grandchildren, Robyn Smith of Clinton, Cory (Colleen) Smith Pacifica, CA and Stephanie (Darrell) Thompson of Plymouth, MN; and six great-grandchildren, Dominique, Indigo, True and Race Thompson and Logan and Amelie Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Murphy.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Taylor House in loving memory of Edith.
