ELEANOR "ELLIE" HATFIELD

Ellie Hatfield, 72, died Sunday, April 25, 2010 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Funeral services will be 10 a.m.Thursday, April 29 at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home. A visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Ellie was born June 17, 1937 in California. She was a dedicated and loyal employee to Fridley Theaters for 27 years. She loved to shoot pool, sit in front of a nickel slot machine for hours, watch the Lady Scarlets play basketball and watch Dancing with the Stars. Now she and Billy Briggle have their own star in Heaven.
Ellie was a very loving mother and will be greatly missed by her children Pamela Carmichael, Michael Hatfield and Kenneth Hatfield; son-in-law David Heggen; daughter- in-laws Gina Rockwell, Sheila Tobin and Tara Butler. Her grandchildren Crystal, Jeannette, Michael Levi, Ken Jr., Katie, Valarie and Karma Jean and great grandchildren Vanessa and Kira will all miss her as she loved and was loved by them very much. Ellie enriched the lives of many friends and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband William (Billy) Briggle and brother Charles (Chico) Talbott.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cager Club for the Lady Scarlets East High School.
