Forrest Parmenter, 77, passed away at his home July 19, 2010. He was born July 17, 1933 in Des Moines.
Forrest is survived by his children, Teresa Rogers, Pamella Hoffman, Rennis Ryan, Vickie Weis and Jerry Parmenter; siblings, Rennis Stackhouse, Grace Cosper and Jack Parmenter; 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mable McVey and Steven Parmenter; sister, Doris King; brother, Wayne Parmenter; and his son, Steven Parmenter.
A private family burial will be held at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery.
