Jason Runde Obituary
Des Moines - Jason S. Runde, 47, passed away unexpectedly at home Thursday, November 30, 2017.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 6, 2017, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.
Jason was born July 6, 1970, to Bruce and Bonnie Runde, in Dubuque, Iowa. He loved listening to music and drawing on his art pad. Jason also collected stamps and coins, and enjoyed going to flea markets and swap meets. He was a proud uncle and loved hanging out with the kids.
Jason is survived by his father, Bruce (Lucy Czolnik) Runde; mother, Bonnie Berens; step-mother, Rosetta (Martin) Middleton; sisters, Tonia (Mike) Olds, Katrena Runde and Megan Runde; brother, Aaron (Marissa) Runde; and seven nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to the family. Finally, the family would like to thank everyone for your support during this time of grief.

My condolences to Jay's family and loved ones. Jay was a cool dude! I worked with him for 5 summers at TasteSpuds and he always made it a fun/enjoyable environment. We'd work fast/efficiently during lunch rush and get in each other's way. I'd tell him Go ahead and he'd always reply Did you just call me a Goat Head!!...We'll miss you Jay!
