JASON MATTHEW WEISER
Formerly of Urbandale
Jason Matthew Weiser, 24, died June 3, 2009, at his home in Thornton, CO. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3663 66th Street, Urbandale, Iowa. Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Iles Funeral Homes-Westover Chapel, 6337 Hickman Road, Des Moines, Iowa 50322 with a vigil service to follow at 7 p.m.
Jason was born in Des Moines and had lived in Urbandale and for the last five years in Colorado. He graduated from Urbandale High School in 2002. He attended the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley and graduated in May 2008. Jason worked in the health insurance field in Thornton. Jason has a passion for his love of animals, especially dogs. He enjoyed hiking, art, music and spending time with his family and friends.
He will be missed by his parents, Scott and Diane; brother, Daniel and sister, Mallory all of Urbandale; grandparents, Gilbert and Elsie Kerber of Chaska, MN and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Jeannie Weiser of Grinnell, Iowa.
Memorial donations may be made to The Animal Rescue League of Iowa or to the family for a memorial in Jason's name to be placed at a later date in an Urbandale park. Online condolences may be made at www.ilesfuneralhomes. com.
