Funeral services for John Beaver, age 63 of Knoxville will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Bybee and Davis Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
He lived in the Knoxville area most of his life and was the maintenance director for Mike Brooks Trucking prior to retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Sandi; children: Sherrie Sage (Phil) of Pleasantville, Vicki Gladson (Nik) of Ankeny, Jawna Harris (Doug) of Clive and Joe Beaver (Joanne) of Knoxville; ten grandchildren and his siblings: Joan Noftsger (Bob) of Grimes and Joyce Finck (Bill) of Knoxville.
Memorials may be made to the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum.
