He was the kind of guy who really loved his family. We could all take a lesson.

I remember Joe as a husband, father and grandfather who love his family and participated in the rearing of those put in his care, specifically showing up at the functions for the grand-kids. He is truly missed.

Have known Joe since "The Elementary School" days. Been friends, teammates for all these many years. Joe was a hard working family first man. Proud of his family's accomplishments.
Despite having some disappointments in life, he was always upbeat, funny, and a pleasure to be around. Looked forward to talking about sports and fellow Junction friends.
Walk on my good friend.

There are no words to explain how deeply his passing has affected so many people. But to the family, I want to thank you for sharing this very caring husband, father, grand-father, great-grandfather, and friend with us. Like you, we will miss him and can not imagine his loving wife without him by her side. But God has him now and the Holy Spirit is left to comfort you, so hold tight to your memories family, and remember you are not alone, though it may feel like it without Joe.

Joe was an awesome neighbor, friend and great guy all around. Most of all he was a second father to me. I know I’ll miss him as well as my father (Jack) who went to school with him and grew up with him in the old days. Many prayers and love to his family.
