- - Larry Orville Gau was born April 29, 1939 in Dayton, Ohio to Marjorie and Orville Gau. Married Susan John in 1959 in Dayton, Ohio and had 2 children. Robin (Richard Byers) and Barry Gau (Mobile Alabama); 5 Grandchildren- Annie Byers (Phillip Washington), Dustin Byers (Tori), Casey Byers, Julia (Ryan Buman) and Sage Gau. 8 Great- Grandchildren.

Services will be Sunday, March 4, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Staves Methodist Church, 2747 E. Madison Ave, Des Moines, IA In Lew of flowers please donate to Blood Center of Iowa, Alzheimer's Association, Cancer Research and/or Hospice of Central Iowa.

To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
