Ackely
LaVerne Doris Ibeling, age 86, of Ackley, Iowa died on Friday the 8th of January, 2016 at the Grand Jivante in Ackley, Iowa after two years of fighting many health issues. Memorial services are 11:00 Am Saturday January 16, 2016 at the First Presbyterian Church in Ackley with Visitation that morning starting at 9:00AM. The Sietsema Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Laverne was a great lady and we were honored to have known her and her family.

Laverne was a remarkable woman. In the 50's and 60's we were best friends. I moved away, but when I returned, whenever we met, she always had a warm smile and a hug. May she be blessed on her new journey!
