Marge Rashky Obituary
Norwalk
Margaret "Marge" Rashky, daughter of Lester and Elizabeth Wilkinson, was born on March 26, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois.
Marge worked hard throughout her life while raising two daughters on her own in the Chicago area. Her daughters grew to be strong willed, independent women just like her. She took on any task presented her. Marge showed herself to be a successful leader in the Girl Scouts of America. A testament to her strength was her survival of breast cancer.
Marge moved to Iowa in 1986. She worked at the United Auto Workers Union Hall and retired after 14 years. She was an active member of the Norwalk Christian Church.
Marge is survived by her two daughters Kathleen (Brian) Chochol and Sharon (Frank) Leonard; grandchildren James (Kate), Scott, Amanda (John); great-grandchildren Miles, Jackson, Jacklyn, Chloe; a brother Ronald (Cora); a sister Barbara; nephew Douglas (Barbara); and niece Cyndi.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
A visitation will be held at the Norwalk Christian Church on Wednesday May, 24 2017 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM; with a service to follow at 6:00 PM. Donations may be addressed to Taylor House Hospice. To leave a condolence or to order flowers visit www.olearyfunerals.com or call (515)-981-0700.
