Marlene and I were close friends when we both volunteered at the Des Moines Community Playhouse. We had lost touch over the years and I am saddened to hear of her passing. She was a good friend and a good person.

Marlene was my niece, She was a wonderful teacher in the Des Moines Public Schools and a wonderful daughter to her Mother, Julia. She is now reunited with her with her parents, Julia and Bruno Fresco.
