Michael Daines Obituary
West Des Moines - Our son, Michael Daines passed away unexpectedly in his sleep Sunday, January 7, 2018. Mike was 40 years old. He leaves behind his most beloved gifts to life; his sons, Ira and Hunter Daines.
Mike, we know you can hear this, "Mom and Dad will always love you".
Visitation will be limited only to the immediate family. Mike shall be cremated and his remains will be scattered in his favorite trout lake located high in the Colorado Rocky Mountains.

I remember growing up playing homerun derby with Mike. We would use his house as the fence and would have to hit the tennis ball over the house to be a homerun. We also did plenty of creek walks down at in Jordan Creek. He was a great neighbor and friend.

Sam & Mary, My heart breaks for your family. Some of my best memories growing up were with your family and Mike was always front and center. I am so grateful for the laughs he added to my life as a young boy. Give my best to Josh and Kristy.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Mike was one of the nicest kids I've ever met. We were in the same class at Valley. He was incredibly well liked and will be missed by so, so many of his classmates.

I know how you are feeling sweetie. When my son passed away I could feel my heart breaking, my life was so unclear. Then when I lost my mama, my best friend again the same feelings but so much more. But you must know he is with the Lord, but he will always be with you in your heart.
