11 years but not a day has passed. Seems it was only yesterday I spoke with you in Boise. We prayed together. A moment of many memories I visit on a daily basis. Oh, how I wish you were here. Our mom, now 85 year incredible. I hope you know I'm fulfilling my promise to the best of my ability. They lockdown the residents frequently due to COVID. I have respiratory issues that prevent me from being permitted to visit, as they fear I may be contagious. I have no doubt she'll out live us all. I was heartbroken when I heard Scott Worth had passed away. I don't hear from the family in Alaska anymore. Your baby granddaughter is a precious newcomer & appears to share physical characteristics that you would certainly recognize. Life seems to go on though it stands still for me. God I miss you, my brother.

I miss you terribly Butch! Hard to believe it's been 10 years already. I feel you with me often & it gives me great comfort. I think about you everyday & I look forward to my dreams when we have our conversations. I love you & miss you so much.

I remember that one time my mom and I were at Birch Brother's Pizza and mom was talking to Bethe. I walk over and nod my greetings. I took one look at Butch and nodded at him. I have never seen a man so intimidating, so strong although he had a war raging inside of him. Butch will be missed.

I met Butch in Caldwell, Idaho when he flew here to buy his new Harley Davidson from our store. He mentioned he was going to Pocatello. I asked about who he knew there and he told me. Then I asked if he knew Albert Ellis, one of my classmates at Pocatello High School. That was the connection I had to Butch. He was a big handsome guy....lots of blonde hair and an air of spirit that exactly matched the motorcycle he was buying. I often wondered what happened to him and I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He really was a memorable guy, as was his father. God bless you all.

Rest in Peace, Butch. You were more than my cousin, you were like my brother. Even though we lost touch as we grew older, I will never forget you. The love and sibling rivalry will always be dear to my heart. God Bless your soul. May your family find peace knowing you are with the Lord.

To the family of Butch Ellis,
We send our heartfelt prayers
to you at this sorrowful time.
Having moved from Delta several
years ago, we did not have the
honor of meeting Butch.
We met Emmie through our grand-daughter, Makala Hart-Somers.
Our son, Bret and his wife Lori,
always spoke so very highly of Butch
and his family.
Sincerely,
Linda and Roger Somers
