Myra Anderson, 90, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Taylor House in Des Moines. Myra was born on February 3, 1922 in Cambridge, Iowa to Ruth (Love) and James Martin. She enjoyed working in her yard, sewing and baking.
Myra is survived by her son, Richard Anderson (Carol); daughter, Lonna McCammond (Frank); sisters, Dorothy Murphy and Rose Gaffney; grandchildren, Kelli Reeves (Rick), Mark Anderson (Jennifer), and Rob McCammond (BeBe); and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Anderson; siblings, Henry, David, Mildred, Josephine, Edna, Ada, and Daisy; and her granddaughter, Courtney.
Funeral services will be 12 p.m. Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Hamilton's on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway, West Des Moines, with a visitation period beginning at 11 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Taylor House Hospice in honor of the loving care Myra received.

We will miss Myra, she was the best nieghbor anyone could ask for. She always had a kind word for my family. We will miss the great treats she was always baking and I could not tell you how many Xmas plates we have enjoyed over 30 yrs...even after we moved she would call and have one for us.....my family is sad, but we all know she is with Bob (where she wanted to be since he left us)R.I.P Myra...The Zanders Family
