As a Percussion Major at WSU- I encountered Dr. Reed as he played on some Percussion Ensemble pieces. I remember his great playing, and smiling face. Garrett Ward

I just learned about Uncle Paul's passing. He was married to my Aunt Suzanne. Her brother, Frank, was my father. Time is passing and so many of many my older relatives are leaving us. After Aunt Suzanne passed away, I would call Uncle Paul to check in on him. I wish I had called more often. My condolences to Marguerite and her family.
RIP, Uncle Paul.

I was so happy to have worked with Paul for so many years at WSU and take piano lessons with him. He will be greatly missed.

I auditioned for Paul Reed in my senior year of HS for a scholarship to WSU, that I received. He was the first person I met in the music department. I never had him as a teacher, but he was a nice man and a great pianist.

Rest Paul, until you hear at dawn,
the low, clear reveille of God.
Thank you for your service to this nation.
