Indianola, Iowa
Pauline Frances Einstein, passed on Friday, March 7, 2014 at Regency Care Center in Norwalk. Pauline was born on November 17, 1923 to George and Lillian (Keniston) Lamb. Pauline met her husband Joseph Van Sant Einstein at their workplace in Plymouth MA. and were married on February 17, 1952. They moved to Indianola, Iowa in 1956. Pauline first started work at the Maidrite on highway 92 then moved to McCoys Hardware store. Pauline retired from J.C. Penneys on the Indianola square in 1983. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, her parents George and Lillian, 2 brothers; George and Arthur, sisters; Harriet, Mabel and Helen. Pauline enjoyed dancing, traveling, movies, going out to eat, Prairie Meadows and her family. Pauline is survived by her daughters; Cecelia Einstein Johansen(Greg), Mary Howe (Kurt), 4 grandchildren; Tami Konrad, Jeni Jackson, Hilary (Trevor) Clatt and Ashley (Lance) Phillips;12 great grandchildren, Shane, Joe, Briana, Corbin, Cassie, Ariana, Teano, Daxsen, Brinkley, Kemper, Drake and Gage, Step grand daughters, Erika(Yuri) Fedirko, Jennifer(Paul)Hutton, Kayce and Lara. Memorial Funeral Services will be held 11 am. Wednesday, March 12 at Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola with a visitation to begin at 10. A luncheon and fellowship will follow services also at the funeral home. Burial of cremains will be in the I.O.O.F. Garden of the Rosary. Memorials can be made to St. Judes Hospice, St. Judes Childrens Hospital or the Animal Rescue League of Iowa. Online condolences may be made at www.petersonfuneralservice.com
