Middle Amana
Robert (Bob) E. "Coach" VanCleave, age 82, of Middle Amana, Iowa, died Sunday, December 22, 2013. Memorial Service: 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, Iowa. The family will receive friends from 3 to 6 P.M. Friday, December 27, 2013 at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Montezuma at a later date. A memorial fund has been established.
Robert is survived by his wife of 61 years, Carol; his daughters, Cindy Doyle, Julie (John) Griess and Amy (Dan) Wilson; three grandchildren, Heather (Jeff) Isackson, Connor Griess, and Haley Wilson; two great-grandchildren Parker Bell and Maggie.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Essence of Life Hospice and the University of Iowa Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center.
