Steven you were a great friend. Dave thank you for blessing me by bringing him into this world. I'm going to play my heart out next season because I know Steve would have done that. He's in a better place now. I remember you told me to keep that in mind and not to worry. I send my prayers out to your whole family and thank you again.

Although I feel very unfortunate that I didn't get to get to know Steven as well as others, just hearing all of the awesome stories and being able to see his character in school shows how great of a person he is. The little time I got to spend with his friends and family at the hospital made me realize not only his, but everybody's strength, love, and support for each other. Steven will be missed always, but will be seen again someday. I am praying for you all

Dave, Denise, Kristina and Jessica and all of Steven's extended family and friends that he considered family, May God be all around you and within you as you go through this very trying time. I cannot truly know how deeply this loss is affecting you, but I do know that you are not alone. Your friends, your family, all of you will see each other through this together. It is in each other that we have the opportunity to see God at work and to make God real for others. My prayer is that you see God in abundance through this time. Peace and grace to you all!

Dave,Denise and Kristina-
Telling the three of you that we are so sorry for your loss just doesn't quite express the pain we feel for all three of you. Steven was an awesome person and we both know from experience that when you lose a loved one you feel that a big hole has been ripped in your heart.
He will always be with you--- ALWAYS!
May the Lord comfort you and give you strength.

My heart goes out to all of you! I worked with Dave with Steven was born and I never saw a prouder Dad! We even used to call him Daddy cause all he ever talked about was his son. Keep your memories close to your heart and mind, they will help you in the coming months!

"I'll lend you for a little while
A child of mine" God said -
For you to love the while he lives
and mourn for when he's dead.
It may be six or seven years
or forty two or three
but will you, till I call him back,
take care of him for me?

He'll bring his charms to gladden you
and, should his stay be brief,
you'll have his nicest memories
as solace for his grief.
I cannot promise he will stay,
since all from earth return
but, there are lessons taught below,
I want this child to learn.

I've looked the whole world over,
in my search for teachers true,
and from the things that crowd life's lane
I have chosen you.
Now will you give him all your love,
nor think the labour vain,
nor hate me when I come to take
this lent child back again?

I fancied that I heard them say,
"Dear Lord Thy Will Be Done"
for all the joys thy child will bring
the risk of grief we'll run.
We'll shelter him with tenderness,
we'll love him while we may,
and for the happiness we've known
forever grateful stay.
But, should thy Angels call for him
much sooner than we planned,
we'll brave the grief that comes
and try to understand.

Playing AAU with Steven I remember when we were playing at Johnson and I was at bat with tighted score and two outs the game was on me. i struck out and came to the doug out getting yelled at by the hole team Steven gets up tells them everybody has a bad day.
Thats one memory of him. He was always a leader and stood up for everyone that was on his team. Steven brought us close with his humor and his fun practice side. I was glad I had a chance to play with him. Thanks for the fun times and making Extreme a team of brothers more then a team

I rememeber the first time I ever met Steven was at his Mom's candle party. He was planning his schedule for school. After he was done, he invited me to play Guitar Hero with him! He was so good at that game. But he was the nicest person ever, he'd never done anything to hurt anyone. He was always helpful. And I went to school with him. I always saw him around school and he always had a smile on his face. I'm going to miss seeing that. I'm going to miss seeing him. My mom and I are very sorry for Steven's family in their time of grief.
