Teresa Hoffman Obituary
Sigourney
Teresa L. Hoffman, 52, Sigourney, went to be with her Lord on June 19, 2014 at Kavanagh House in Des Moines after a 2-year fight with cancer. Teresa was raised in Waukee and lived there until her marriage to Tim Hoffman in 1996. They lived in Indianola until 2003, when they moved to Sigourney, where they have farmed since. Teresa is survived by her husband, Tim, her son, Ryan DeWitt of West Des Moines, stepson, Jed Hoffman of West Des Moines, parents, James and Betty DeWitt of Waukee, sister Janice (John) Jordan of Sun City West AZ, and brother Jim DeWitt of West Des Moines. Funeral Service-10:30a.m. Monday June 23, 2014 at the Lancaster Christian Church south of Sigourney. Visitation 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Holm Funeral Home , Sigourney. Memorials are to Hospice of Central Iowa or her Church.

I am so sorry to read this about Teresa's death I have loads of good memories of her when she was growing up in Waukee and what an exceptional young woman she was she was our neighbor and a very good friend of our daughter Sherri Rumelhart. I could go on forever about all the good times they had at each others homes. Teresa was taken from you much to soon and may God help you at this difficult time. Roberta Weeks
