Chariton
Services for Tom Saffeels, 84, of Chariton will be held Thursday, January 3 at 2 p.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton with family receiving friends beginning at 12 p.m. prior to the service. Memorials are requested to the Chariton Community of Christ Church.
Tom passed away December 30, 2012 at the Legacy Lodge in Chariton surrounded by his family. Preceding him in death was his wife, Earla who passed away in January of 2008. He is survived by his children, David Saffeels, Sally (Mike Brewer) Saffeels, Dale (Julie) Saffeels, and Dean Saffeels; along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Howard C. Wilson; and many relatives and friends.

I am sorry for the loss of your dad. Growing up in the neighborhood with all of you was really great. Your dad worked a lot just like my dad. He had a good sense of humor as did your mom.Everyone was welcome at your house and there was a lot of love shared. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
