VIVIAN R. KROLOFF
Des Moines
Vivian Rose Kroloff, 85, a life long resident of Des Moines passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2010.
Vivian started, along with her husband Dan, Vividan's on Des Moines east side. She was a savvy businesswoman becoming one of the first women to excel in the furniture business. In 1976 she founded Kroloff's Home Furnishings and as CEO became a fixture throughout Central Iowa. Vivian's greatest love was her family.
Honoring her memory are her children, Lynn, Michael (Esther) Robin (Kevin) and Rory (Patty); grandchildren, Emily, Marcus (Lyndsay) Steve and Sara (Dror) Alyssa, Ryan (Michelle) Erin, April (Chad) Tony; and great- grandchildren, Justice, Tristan and Michael.
Vivian was preceded in death by Dan; her parents, Joseph and Sarah Feintech; brothers, Harold and Sid; and son, Steven. She has one living brother, Ron Feintech.
A graveside service was held Tuesday, January 12 at Glendale Cemetery. Contributions may be sent to the Judaic Resource Center, 943 Cummings Parkway, Des Moines, IA 50312, or The Animal Rescue League of Iowa, 5452 NE 22nd, Des Moines, IA 50313.
